the short term, heroin can cause:
- One-to-two
minute "rush."
- Warm
flushing of the skin.
- Dry
mouth.
- Heavy
feeling in arms and legs.
- Nausea.
- Vomiting.
- Severe
itching.
- Drowsiness
and confusion for up to six hours.
- Slowed
heart rate.
- Slowed
breathing rate.
